We are a husband-and-wife team, who created the company to provide experiences that people would look back on to remember. All our apartments and houses have been carefully considered to ensure it meets what we would expect ourselves, so that you can have everything you need to have the stay away from home that you deserve.
We road test all our accommodation ourselves before they go live to ensure they are set up effectively and efficiently to allow you a hassle free and relaxing stay.
All our locations provide a minimum of two bedrooms, sleeping up to four guests, free parking for at least one car, Wi-Fi and are only a short distance from the centre of each location.
We offer self check-in and 24/7 guest support. Whenever possible, we resolve requests from guests without having to physically come to the property to ensure you can have an uninterrupted stay.

Catchpole Stays provides accommodation in Chelmsford, Colchester, and Ipswich. Each apartment/house is located close to all the local amenities you could need for a comfortable stay including shops and supermarkets.
Chelmsford- Located right outside the Civic Theatre, the apartment is within a couple of minutes walk of the bus and train station. Only a short distance further is the city centre where you can find all the shops and restaurants you need including Bond street, Higher Chelmer and Meadows Shopping Centres.
Colchester- All of our properties are within walking distance of local amenities. From being a 15 minute walk into the main town centre and Castle Park to sitting near North station and hospital.
Ipswich- Sitting right on the Marina our apartment is within walking distance of all the Marina has to offer as well as being only a 15-minute walk into the Town centre, which has lots of shops and
restaurants to chose from.
Sits on Neptune Marina where boat owners, visitors and building residents enjoy being in the heart of the beautiful waterfront where cafés and restaurants line the quayside.
Just 300 metres off the Quayside in Fore Street you will find Chinese, Thai, Indian, Greek style restaurants and Ipswich’s oldest pub, the Spread Eagle, which dates back to 1510!
Just off the Waterfront you will find Cardinal Park with an 11 screen cinema together with several well known national chain restaurant outlets and fast food.
Hire car facilities are less than 5 minutes’ walk from Neptune Marina – useful for discovering the wider, beautiful county of Suffolk.
Ipswich Town Centre is a 20 minute walk away- Here you can see all the beautiful Historic buildings as well as enjoy all the local shops and restaurants.
Ipswich Regent Theatre, one of a number of theatres in the town is only a 15 minute walk away.
Portman Road, home of the famous Ipswich Town FC is only a 30 minute walk.
Ipswich Train station 25 Minute walk.

Check in is from 2pm for those who book direct. If you require an earlier check in this may be possible, but is subject to availability.
Check out is 10am. Again a late check out may be possible but is subject to availability.
All of our properties provide a self check in process. Detailed information will be email across explaining what you need to do to access the property.
We will email across check in details 5 days prior to your arrival.

All of our apartments come with one allocated parking space and Highwoods House with two. These are provided free of charge.
Only our Ipswich Marina retreat has a lift in the building.
If you need to cancel you booking please get in touch as soon as you become aware that you can’t make your stay.
Our cancellation policy is 14 nights. We do however appreciate there are sometimes extenuating circumstances and we treat each request individually depending on the circumstances.
